Raistlin was the brother of Exzordor. He despised weapons, and aimed to prove that one could exist in a fully war torn environment (PVP Seige Perilous) without weapon skills or combat. From early on he was a jester of sorts, never taking much serious - he often wore a jester hat and could be found running around town on his trusty fire beetle.

After a long day of stealing enchanted apples from people at the bank in the paladin city of Luna, Raistlin went out to cut fire wood and never returned. This left his brother Exzordor in a high state of panic, despair, and misery. He often went out in search for any signs of him or his return. All he ever found was some blood near their mother's grave in the woods.

One day Exzordor cast the powerful spell "Uus Corp" on his brother trying to bring him back to this world, but was unsuccessful - and in turn he himself became inflicted by the spell and suffered a slow agonizing death while transforming from human to the painful existence of the Undead form he remains in today.
